Part of my “Hymn Of Handkerchiefs”.

We already had a rescue dog, Binkie, but now we also have a rescue chook. She was lost, walking in front of our neighbour’s house, along the street. The neighbour brought her to us, because he knew she would have a safe haven with us. She was severely mistreated, lots of feathers were lost and half her body was naked. Now that she is getting good food, a garden to roam free in and love and care, her feathers are starting to grow back. She is also getting her confidence back; pecking the dog and in the evening jumping on the window sill to see what it is that we are doing. Happiness restored.

I’m happy to announce that my tapestry “Home-In-The-Woods” was selected to participate in the group exhibition “Minnawarra Art Awards 2021”. I did not win one of the awards though, unfortunately (literally 😊), but hey...you can’t always win! The last time I was in a competition was with playing Bingo and I won a microwave. And that was when the microwave had only just come out on the market, so that was a big hit! 🤪😆 Anyway, the exhibition is an interesting, eclectic gathering of artworks and it gives a glimpse of the kind of works that are being made in WA, Australia. So if you are in the neighbourhood, make some time to go see the exhibition! It’s on till the 16th of May, open daily from 11am to 4pm at the Armadale District Hall. Have fun!

It’s a doorway

Getting ready, dancing again.

I much enjoyed dancing every part of my body during a session hosted by @gaga.people.dancers using Zoom yesterday afternoon. I love their and @batshevadancecompany ‘s dancing ways and their approach!

I’m modifying/customising an existing home design. Paul and I are planning to move this year. Maybe even have our own house build. Let’s hope my customised design will become reality! 🙏👏🌟❤️🍀🤞🙏 No matter what the outcome, I’m having fun along the way! 😊
