A client saw my baskets and asked me to make a ‘cosy’ for her unusual shaped and rather large teapot. I don’t have the ambition nor the intention to make another ‘tea cosy’ and I really need to focus on my tapestries and installation right now instead of taking up commissions like this, but sculptural wise it was an interesting project. I don’t know yet if my ‘cosy basket’ is to the client’s liking, but I love what I see looking at the piece, it reminds me of a bird, and I think this ‘jacket’ has given her ‘made in China’ teapot more personality and individuality.

I love my grass yoga mat. It feels comfortable under my feet and when you lay on it you can smell the grass. A bit softer one would suit…soothe my body better, but if you ask me it is a step up from the regularly used yoga mat.
I was struggling to find the right shade of green yesterday.

While on holidays we visited Paws and Claws @pawsinport in Port Douglas to give the doggies some respite from their enclosures….and because we missed our own puppy 😉 We love dogs so much 😍
